Clean water for all

Through the project ‘Tripty’ Ignite Global Foundation ensures that people in rural areas can access safe water free of cost and reduce the incidence of diarrheal and other water-borne diseases. Till now 1,20,000 people have been empowered with secure water access across Bangladesh.

Disaster Resilience Program

THE FOUNDER OF

Ignite Global Foundation

Muhammad Jahirul Islam and some of his friends raised funds to distribute winter clothes to poor people in the Tongi to Airport area. On that day a group of children came to them and said” We don’t need clothes, we need education and want to go to school’. After that incident, he realizes the importance of educating street children. After a couple of months, he started a school with a bunch of street children. Yes! Muhammad Jahirul Islam is the founder and chairman of Ignite Global Foundation (IGF), he founded Ignite in 2016 to work on poverty elevation, inclusive education, health and nutrition, women empowerment, menstrual health kit, pure drinking water and sanitation, blood donation, youth development, human rights and eco environment. Muhammad Jahirul Islam is recognized by enormous national and international awards. He has received The Diana Award 2020, Joy Bangla Youth Award 2020, UN Best Volunteer Group Award 2019, The Hero Award 2021, The Unswerving Contribution Award 2022, JCI Young Entrepreneur Award 2022, The President Scout Award 2013 and so on for the recognition of his activities. He has also involved himself in motivational speaking, where he motivates the youth to engage themselves in working for the betterment of society and promote volunteerism.

Inclusive Education

The primary objective of inclusive education is to educate both special children and regular children in the regular classroom and meet their individual needs.

Youth Development

Ignite Changemakers are working hard to execute the SDGs in their localities by coordinating with the local government in 64 districts of Bangladesh.

Disaster Resilience

Through the Disaster Resilience Program, IGF is working on disaster management, emergency food distribution, and reconstruction of homes and shelters with awareness programs among people in remote areas of Bangladesh.
