Project Nirman
Project ‘Nirman’ focuses on providing permanent housing solutions for people vulnerable to, or afflicted by natural disasters, conflicts and other calamities especially in rural areas. Through project Nirman , Ignite Global Foundation ensures that people in rural areas can have safe housing as well as reconstructed houses of worship like mosque, temple, church and monasteries post-disaster, free of cost, to help them lead a healthy and happy life.
Objectives
- To provide the governmental and non-governmental sectors that support disaster-affected areas access to detailed knowledge on risks and vulnerabilities of the people who lost their homes.
- To provide the affected people with the necessary technical support for designing and implementing measures to mitigate the impacts of the disasters.
- To reinforce national and departmental disaster preparedness and response capacities.
Impact
Ignite Global Foundation comes in aid and gives these people access to stable housing through Project Nirman so that they can lead a safe and healthy life free of mental and physical risks after natural disasters. Through the project, Nirman IGF already reconstructed 6 houses and 01 Mosque.
